The Department of Computer Applications successfully organized a One Day State Level Workshop titled “Cybersecurity and AI Awareness: Navigating the Digital Future” on 10th August 2026.
The workshop featured Mr. Nikhil Malgi, Director, Avanteia Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Asif Shaikh, Trainer, Avanteia Pvt. Ltd., as resource persons. The workshop was coordinated by Ms. Anupa Naik, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications.
The workshop provided an engaging and informative platform for participants to explore important aspects of cybersecurity awareness, Artificial Intelligence applications, and safe digital practices. The sessions encouraged participants to understand the opportunities and challenges presented by emerging digital technologies.

A total of 49 students and 4 teachers from various Higher Secondary Schools across North Goa participated in the workshop. The participants actively engaged with the sessions and gained valuable insights into cybersecurity, AI, and responsible use of digital technologies.
