The Department of Commerce organized an interactive and insightful session on the topic “Role of Critical Thinking in Effective Leadership” for the F.Y. B.Com (C & E Division) students.
The session was conducted by Mr. Vasant Pednekar, Teacher Grade I at M.E.S. Higher Secondary School, Vasco-Goa.
The objective of the session was to help students understand the importance of critical thinking as a core component of leadership.
Mr. Pednekar highlighted how effective leaders make rational, creative, and well-informed decisions by analyzing situations critically.
He also discussed real-life examples demonstrating how critical thinking enhances problem-solving, communication, and team management skills—essential qualities for future business professionals.
👩🎓 Participation
A total of 67 students and 7 faculty members attended the session, actively engaging in the discussion and reflecting on the practical aspects of leadership in the corporate world.

The session proved to be highly enriching and thought-provoking, encouraging students to develop analytical and reflective mindsets.
