The Department of Chemistry organized the 4th Edition of the Intercollegiate (State Level) Quiz Competition on the theme
“Green Chemistry for Better Sustainability” on 26th September 2025 at the BBA Auditorium.
The event was sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK), Bangalore, and aimed to promote awareness and understanding of eco-friendly chemical practices and sustainable innovations among students.
🧪 Participation
A total of eight teams from various colleges across Goa enthusiastically participated in the competition.
The event provided an engaging platform for students to showcase their scientific knowledge, quick thinking, and team spirit.
🏆 Results
1st Place: St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa
2nd Place: Ganpat Parsekar College, Harmal
3rd Place: St. Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim
👩🎓 Event Execution
The Quiz Competition was coordinated and executed by the TYBSc Chemistry students, who efficiently managed all aspects of the event—from registration and stage management to scoring and timekeeping—under the guidance of the department faculty.
