The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to modern forensic science techniques and their applications in real-world investigations.
A total of 26 students and 4 faculty members benefitted from the trip.
π§ Key Highlights
π‘ PowerPoint Presentation:
A detailed presentation by an NFSU faculty member introduced students to forensic science and its applications, highlighting the various specializations and programs offered on campus.𧬠Laboratory Visits:
Students explored state-of-the-art forensic laboratories, including:Forensic Biology
Forensic Chemistry
Digital Forensics
Drone Technology
Each lab visit included demonstrations and hands-on experiences, allowing students to connect theoretical knowledge with practical techniques used in forensic investigations.
π€ Academic Collaboration:
The department received an extremely positive response during discussions with faculty members and the Dean (Academics) regarding potential academic and research collaborations, including the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutes.
β¨ Conclusion
The educational trip offered a valuable interdisciplinary learning experience, bridging the gap between chemistry and forensic science.
It also opened new avenues for academic collaboration and student research engagement, enriching the learning environment of the department.
