MSc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Each year will have two semesters. Each Semester will consists of two modules, (optional-elective and compulsory-core) papers. Each module will have two papers. Any elective papers can be chosen in each semester. There is also a industrial project paper-Dissertation of 3 months industrial training. Taught courses are structured on a modular basis to permit a choice of options and to accommodate entrants from a range of backgrounds. Each module requires a minimum of 75% attendance, and maximum efforts from students.


Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s college started the Master of Commerce (M.Com) programme of Goa University, from the academic year 2006-07. Our college is one of the first college in North Goa offering B.Com and M.Com courses under the same roof. The college has well qualified and experienced faculty, excellent infrastructure and very ambient environs to cater to the needs of the post-graduate student. Many of our faculty have pursued and are pursuing doctorates, M.Phil’s and research projects.

 To be eligible for admission to the Semester-I of the Three Years integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Commerce, the candidate should have passed (i) the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in the Commerce stream, OR (ii) the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) Examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in the Vocational stream in the subjects notified by the University, under this clause, from time to time, OR (iii) the Std XII (Commerce) or similar examination of another body equivalent to Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Goa and recognized as such by Goa University.

Bachelor of Business Administration

BBA provides students with business and management skills necessary to become effective leaders innovators and entrepreneurs in today’s competitive economy. It strives to bridge the gap between industry and classroom to bring a touch of corporate to regular classrooms sessions. Another feature that complements to its uniqueness is the overall development of an individual. The effectiveness of BBA depends not only on theoretical learning but it’s emphasis on the implementation of ideas and knowledge. Bachelor of Business Administration, or BBA, is a three- year full time course that is designed to give rise to future professionals, rather than mere ‘degree holders’. This course keeps in mind the needs of the industry where the students would ultimately find employment, and, therefore, has a completely different approach to learning.

Bachelor of Computer Application

Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s college offers a three year competitive integrated course Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA) which prepares the student to take up challenging jobs in the software industry or pursue higher studies. The Bachelor of Computer Applications Course trains the student with comprehensive inputs from the rapidly changing IT industry, and enables them to take up the challenges of the corporate world. This course aims at giving quality education in computers to students aspiring to make careers in the IT industry. The programme is of a six semester duration. The students will get diversified knowledge, not only in the field of computers but also, in management, accounting and allied fields. The primary focus of the course is to train the student to tackle real-life corporate problems by means of projects, seminars and case studies. Successful completion of this course opens up options like M.C.A., M.B.A., M.Sc. I.T., etc.
